Instructions for presenters

There are several presentation modalities at ICDL and corresponding authors have received the information by email. Please check the Program to find your contribution.  Here is an overview.

Contributed papers

Depending on the instructions you have received, your paper has been scheduled either as a short talk or as a poster presentation with a spotlight (2 min. oral presentation before the poster session).
Oral presentation
You may use the computer in the lecture hall (preferred option; PDF or MS Powerpoint and compatible formats) or your own laptop (connection possible via HDMI or USB-C; if your laptop has a different type of connector, we kindly ask you to bring an adapter). Each oral presentation is allocated 11 minutes for the talk, followed by 3 minutes for Q&A. Arrive at least 15 minutes early before your session starts to test your presentation.
Poster presentation with spotlight
  • Spotlight presentations will be 2 minutes long and the time limit will be strictly enforced.
  • Submit your spotlight presentation file via RAS PaperCept until September 9, 2025. Name your file using your paper number: [your-paper-number].pdf (e.g., P45.pdf). Prepare your spotlight talk as a single PDF slide or short presentation.
  • Poster presentation will follow after the afternoon coffee break of the corresponding day. Please see below for the poster format and instructions when to set it up.

Late-breaking reports (LBR)

All LBRs have been scheduled for a poster presentation without a spotlight. Please see below for the poster format and instructions when to set it up.

Journal track

All  journal track contributions have been scheduled for a poster presentation without a spotlight. Please see below for the poster format and instructions when to set it up.

You can set up your poster any time during the day,  at the latest during the 15:15-15:45 coffee break. Please remove your poster at the end of the day.

Maximum dimensions:

  • 76 cm (width) × 100 cm (height) / 29.9 inches (width) × 39.4 inches (height)

  • The poster stands are connected to others, with always one space in the middle between two posters that will be free.
