Excellent Prague Public Transport (MHD) is provided by Metro (subway), trams, and buses from 5 a.m. till midnight, and by night trams (non-stop). Tickets can be bought in yellow sales machines (at the airport, in each Metro station) or at newsstands for CZK 40 (transfer ticket valid for 90 minutes) or CZK 30 (non-transfer ticket valid for 30 minutes). A 1-day or 3-day card can be also purchased. More information including network maps, timetables, and journey planner can be found there as well.
The easiest way to get to Faculty of Electrical Engineering from the airport is taking a bus and metro. Buy a transfer ticket (40 CZK). When you plan a trip from Airport (Terminal 1/2) to Dejvicka metro station, you shall get the following:
More information about airport public transport can be found here https://www.prg.aero/en/public-transport-buses. Public transport tickets must be purchased in advance before the passenger boards the bus. Tickets are sold in the Visitor Centre, at the Prague Public Transit company counters in Arrival Halls, or from ticket vending machines located throughout both terminals and directly at bus stops. Most ticket machines accept contactless credit card payments. Tickets can also be purchased via SMS or the Lítačka mobile app, which can be also used to search for the ideal public transport connection. The application is available for Android and iOS.
When you buy the ticket through SMS or app, it takes 1-2 minutes before activation. In bus and trams, the ticket needs to be active before entering. In metro, it needs to be active before entering the paid zone marked by stamp machines.
The paper tickets need to be stamped before entering the bus/tram or the paid zone in metro stations. This may be tricky for foreigners, as most people in Prague have yearly tickets that do not need to be stamped and thus almost everybody walks into the metro or trams/buses without tickets, etc.
There is an official taxi service, Uber Airport. Here is the link with more information https://www.prg.aero/en/taxi.
The taxi service is a bit more expensive. If you do not have excessive luggage, we suggest using the public transport services.
Depending on at which “end” of the Dejvická station you get out of the metro, follow one of the following two routes, which will bring you to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the conference venue. The length of both routes is similar, both will take you around 2-3 minutes.
The route on the left is the one that is used by Google Maps. You can follow the signs for “Exit E2 – ulice Šolínova, ulice Evropská, ulice Technická, areály Vysokých Škol”.
The lunches will be held at the Blox Restaurant (Evropská 2758/11, 160 00 Praha 6).
You can follow the map below to access the restaurant.

The daily menu can be found here. The restaurant staff is ready to adjust the meals in case of dietary requirements, e.g., change meat to tofu or remove chees from the dishes.
