Registration

The registration for the IEEE International Conference on Development and Learning 2025 (IEEE ICDL 2025) will be handled by Ms. Milena Zeithamlová, a conference organizer authorized by the IEEE CIS.

To register, you are kindly asked to complete the REGISTRATION FORM and pay the registration fee.  (Reg. form will be opened later)

Registration with paid fees will also allow you to upload your final paper (only by the corresponding author) in PaperCept system (within 24 hours).

The deadline for early registration is July 16, 2025.

Registering early will save you money, and also it will help us to organize things better!

Registration Fee includes:
  • attendance at IEEE ICDL 2025 main conference and admission to all sessions – Wed, Thu, Fri – September 17-19, 2025

Student Registration Fee:

Students prove their student status either by IEEE student member number (IEEE Student Member) or other student ID number (number of a valid Student card) during the registration process. A copy of a valid student card or a student confirmation (in English) may be requested by organizers upon the arrival at the registration desk.

Workshop Registration Fee includes:
  • admission to workshop(s) of choice on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 only
  • no publication of papers in the conference proceedings
  • 2 coffee breaks
  • 1 lunch
  • workshop package
Optional registration fees:
  • Each registration includes complimentary (free) publication of up to 1 paper (if accepted) containing up to 6 pages in length, in the Conference Proceedings (IEEE Xplore), if presented at the conference.
  • 1-2 extra pages are allowed, subject to an extra page charge.
  • An extra paper (2nd paper) per registered author is allowed. It requires an additional payment.
  • For each accepted paper, at least one author should pay the registration fee and attend the conference to be included in the conference program.
Accompanying person fee:

Accompanying persons can attend the social events subject to purchase of extra tickets. This does not grant access to the regular sessions of the conference.

All fees will be charged in Czech Crowns (CZK) and include relevant VAT.

If you have any difficulties in sending the payment in CZK (Czech Crowns) by bank transfer, please contact the registration chair.

Please indicate your PROFORMA INVOICE number and your name as payment description/identification. Please make sure that the bank transfer is net of all bank charges and commissions made. Remaining charges will be requested upon your arrival when registering.

Confirmation / Proforma Invoice / Invoice

Once you have completed the online REGISTRATION FORM you will receive the email confirmation.

In the case of:

  • card payment, the proforma invoice corresponding to your payment (pdf document) will be attached to the confirmation email. Confirmation email contains very important information including the status of your card payment. After your successful payment authorization, you will immediately receive a final invoice. (If the card payment is declined by the authorization centre, just click on the link of payment status and fill the card details again or use another card).
  • bank transfer, the proforma invoice corresponding to your payment (pdf document) will be attached to the confirmation email. The final invoice will be issued upon the receipt of the payment on our account and sent attached to the confirming email.

Cancellation Policy & Refund

All refund requests must be made in writing by email to the IEEE ICDL 2025 registration chair.

  • no refund for registered authors who uploaded a final paper to the conference proceedings
  • if a cancellation of non-author is made before August 13, 2025 the registration fee reduced by CZK 4 000 will be refunded
  • if a cancellation of Workshop only is made before August 13, 2025 the registration fee reduced by CZK 1 000 will be refunded
  • after September 5, 2025, no registration fees can be refunded
  • all refunds will be processed after the conference

If you cannot attend, your registration is transferable to another participant (the same type of registration fee). Please inform registration chair at as soon as possible, but not later than August 31, 2025 to whom your registration should be transferred to.

Visa Requirements & Invitation Letter

The Czech Republic is part of the European Union and Schengen agreement zone. Visitors from some countries may need visa to enter Czech Republic. The relevant information can be found on the web pages of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. If you are not sure whether the visa necessity applies to you, contact the Czech embassy or consulate in your country.

If you need a Letter of Invitation to obtain a visa, Ms. Milena Zeithamlova  (registration chair) will send you such a letter upon request, once you have registered for the conference and paid the registration fee.

For the letter of invitation the following information are welcome:

  • Your name and surname (i.e., family name)
  • Name and address of your employer
  • Address of residence
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number
  • Title of your paper

Czech consular authorities may ask you to enclose the confirmation of your accommodation as well as the health insurance for your stay in the Czech Republic.
